SCC Info Session July 15th
On July 15, the Superior Community Coalition welcomed residents for an informational session focused on the proposed acquisition of Superior Water, Light & Power's water utility. The evening featured presentations from Mayor Jim Paine, financial advisor Bill Fennessey, and former Wisconsin Public Service Commission Chairman Eric Callisto, each offering their perspective on the proposal and the questions facing our community. The session was an opportunity for residents to learn more about the potential financial, operational, and long-term implications of the proposed takeover, ask questions, and continue an important community conversation built on transparency, accountability, and informed decision-making.
